Register for DORMS
You will receive an email approximately eight weeks before your program start date telling you to register for DORMS. DORMS is the online portal used by Disney Programs.
During DORMS registration, you will also have the opportunity to:
- Request a housing accommodation (if needed)
- If available, submit your apartment type preference and link with a roommate

Sign your lease
If you will be living at Flamingo Crossings Village, you will receive your lease electronically approximately four weeks before the beginning of your program.

Drug screening (role depending)
Depending on your role, you may receive an email instructing you to take a drug screen any time prior to the beginning of your employment. Not all participants will be required to take this step.
This process is time sensitive and must be completed in the stated time frame, so please read instructions carefully.
If you are required to take a drug screening, you must follow these steps:
- Select location within 48 hours of receiving the email.
- Call or check website for selected location to confirm hours, and make appointment if needed.
- Check in via email when you arrive.
- Complete Documentation of testing by returning to email with subject line:
*Disney Pre-employment Drug Testing - IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED*
and click the link to verify.

Complete onboarding/Workday tasks
You will receive an email about pre-arrival onboarding tasks to complete.

Verify social security number
Verify your Social Security Number is correct. Do not try changing it or adding a different number.

Set up direct deposit
Disney College and Culinary Program participants will receive instructions on how to set up direct deposit. Please make sure to have your bank account information handy - you will need your account and routing numbers.

Complete all tasks
The "Hometown on Nametag" step will be the final task. You will know you are finished with your onboarding tasks when this is complete.

Complete I-9 forms
You will receive an email from The Walt Disney Company I-9 Service Center to complete your I-9 forms. Follow these steps:

For a list of accepted documents that establish both identity and employment authorization, click here.

Complete section 1
Ensure that social security number and information matches the documents you provided.

Verify section 2 completed
Remind your Authorized Representative (selected in section 1) to complete section 2, and monitor your inbox in case you receive corrections and/or updates.
Participants on the International Program will complete the I-9 section 2 with a Disney representative upon arrival.

If needed, connect with your college/university about any forms your school or faculty may require for you to earn credit for your Disney Program.

Review the Disney Look guidelines
Our appearance standards are an important part of our company's heritage. Before you arrive, make sure to review the full Disney Look guidelines. You must be in compliance with Disney Look when you arrive. This includes removing any facial piercings, such as nose rings, for your ID photo that will be taken during check-in.

College or Culinary Program
If you are on a College or Culinary Program, bring an unexpired, original (not a copy) government-issued photo ID. Your fingerprints will be collected for a background check on your arrival day.

International Program
- If you are on an International Program, you must have the following original documentation (copies will not be accepted):
- Passport with visa stamp (US and Canada passport-holders do not require a visa)
- Original Form DS-2019 with your signature and location/date signed (J-1 visa holder only)
- Proof of medical insurance (J-1 visa holder only)
- I-797 Visa Approval Notice (Q-1 visa holder only)
- If you are on an International Program, you will complete I-9 section 2 with an HR representative on your arrival day.
