DORMS Guide – Experience Disney Programs

DORMS stands for "Disney Onsite Resident Management System,” and is where you will register for your Disney Program, preference roommates, view and register for upcoming events and offerings and so much more! DORMS is only accessible to you once you have been accepted for a program.

Your Program "Portal"

Similar to the student portal you might have had while at school, DORMS serves as a “portal” for your program. Here, you will take important actions prior to arrival and throughout your program experience. This might include registering for housing, making payments or adding a vehicle for your program.

Email communication

Disney Programs' primary means of communication with you throughout your program is via email. Ensure you are checking your email regularly so that you do not miss any updates or important information, and keep an eye out for your weekly Disney Programs newsletter sent every Friday from DORMS!

On DORMS, you can find and register for upcoming events, activities and sessions hosted by Disney Programs and/or Flamingo Crossings Village. Make sure you always read event descriptions carefully - there may be certain requirements if you choose to attend.

MONSTER TIP

To prevent your DORMS account from being disabled/deactivated, log in to DORMS at least once every two weeks.

Error Messages

Forgot my password

To change your password:

Open the DORMS homepage: https://dorms.disney.com/login
Select the "Forgot password?" prompt.
You will be asked for your username, which is the email address you used when you applied for the program, then click “Submit.”
A password reset email will be sent to you from Disney.Housing.message.NO-REPLY@twdc.com. If you do not see an email within 15 minutes, check your spam/junk/promotions folder.

NOTE: If you click the “Submit” button on the "Create or reset your password" page more than once in a 24-hour period, be sure to use the most current reset email information, as the most recent password is the only one that will work.

Account disabled / deactivated / locked

Your account might be disabled, deactivated or locked for a few different reasons.

First, verify that you are on the correct site: https://dorms.disney.com/login

Invalid credentials
An 'invalid credentials' error indicates that your username is spelled incorrectly, does not exist or is disabled. Retype your username and try again.

Inactivity
If you do not log into DORMS at least once every 14 days, your account will be disabled. To remedy this, select "Forgot Password” and enter in your username. The act of requesting a new password will reactivate your account. Once you receive your new password, you will be able to log in and update your password to one of your choosing.

Too many failed login attempts
Your account will lock if you make too many failed login attempts. Please try again after 30 minutes. Reminder that your username is the email address you used when you applied for the program. If you are unsure of your password, click the "Forgot password?" link to change it.

“Invalid credentials” error message

First, confirm that you are on the right site: https://dorms.disney.com/login

The reason you may be receiving the message “Invalid Credentials” is because your computer is remembering old or different passwords/usernames from other sites even if the correct password/username is typed.

If you know your username is correct, then you will need to change your password. Before changing your password, though, you will need to change your browser settings using one of the following methods:

Log in to DORMS using an incognito or private browsing window. (This is often the easiest and most successful option)
Use a different internet browser (Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Safari) or a different computer altogether after requesting your temporary password.
Clear the cache on your computer. The cache is what stores your password information. After clearing your cache, you must close and reopen all your browser windows before attempting the new password.
Clear your browser history.

If you cannot remember your username or know it was typed wrong at time of application, reach out to Disney Programs here. Reminder that your username is the email address you used when filling out your application.

“Message 103” error message

“Message 115” error message

You are receiving "error 115" because you have requested to create or reset your password more than once in the last 15 minutes. Multiple requests could be the result of clicking the "Submit" button more than once during this process.

Please check your email for a message from wdpr.disney.housing.message.no-reply@twdc.com that contains instructions to complete your password assistance process.

If the temporary one-time-use password you received via email is not working, wait 30 minutes and try the “Create or reset your password” page again.

DORMS registration button not visible

Prior to your arrival, you will receive an email directing you to login to DORMS to complete registration. If you have received this email, but do not see the DORMS registration button on the DORMS home screen, this means that you did not fully complete program acceptance.

Please follow the steps below to complete your program acceptance:

From the DORMS home screen, click Program Acceptance under your future program.
Continue through program acceptance by clicking Next. (If you have already submitted your Program Participation Fees you will not be required to repay.)
You should receive the message 'You have successfully completed your Program Acceptance Information!'
Click Home to return to the DORMS home screen.

You should now see the DORMS registration button.

Unable to pay program fees

Birthday on DORMS is incorrect

The birthdate on file comes from what you entered at the time of your application/job offer.

If the date is incorrect, you will be unable to complete DORMS registration.

To fix the birthday on file, you will need to reach out to Disney Programs here. In your message, please include the correct birthday (Month-Day-Year).

Upon arrival, you will be required to verify your birthdate on a government-issued ID.

Issues entering phone number

For both U.S. and non-U.S. based phone numbers, use the Country Code drop-down box to complete the selection from the options provided. In the text box following Number, enter your phone number (for U.S. phone numbers, please make sure to include the area code).

If you are a current participant, you can edit your phone number from your DORMS homepage by clicking View Profile under your current program.

If you are not yet on your program, click DORMS Registration on your future program to change your phone number.

System error when advancing to housing preferences

If you receive 'a system error has occurred' message when advancing to the housing preferences page during DORMS registration, this error means the roommate leader has not yet completed registration.

The roommate leader must receive their confirmation page before you are able to complete registration.

If you would not like to be matched with this participant, log in and press the Unlink Me! button on the Roommate Preferences page.

Once you select Unlink Me! you will not be able to match with this participant again, however you will be able to match with other eligible participants within your arrival date.

Reminder that Disney Programs will make every attempt to place the match in the same apartment, however we are not able to ensure your match will be placed in the same bedroom. Room and apartment placement is based on availability and there are no guarantees.

E-mail

Need to change email on DORMS

To update your email address on DORMS, please follow the directions below based on your program status:

If Current Program is listed at the top of your DORMS homepage, select View Profile and update your email address on the Participant Profile page. Be sure to click Save to confirm the changes.
If Future Program is listed at the top on your DORMS homepage and the DORMS registration module button is displayed for you, select this button and update your email address on the Participant Profile page. Be sure to click Next and proceed through the module until you see the confirmation page.
If Future Program is listed at the top on your DORMS homepage and you do not have the option for DORMS registration module, please visit our Support Site.

As a reminder, updating your email address on DORMS will only change the address at which the system sends you communication. Your DORMS username will remain unchanged.

Updating your email on DORMS also does not change the email address associated with your Disney Cast Life account, where you might receive communication from The Walt Disney Company. If you need to change your email on Disney Cast Life, do so by visiting D Tools HR.

Not receiving DORMS emails

If you are not receiving emails from DORMS, follow the below steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Confirm that you are using the same email address as the one on your DORMS profile.
Check your spam/trash folder. Due to the nature of emails sent from DORMS, your email domain may assume emails from DORMS are spam.
Change your email address on DORMS to a different email. School/university (.edu) email addresses are known to send DORMS messages to spam folders.

Add WDPR.disney.housing.no-reply@twdc.com to your email address book.
