Check your arrival itinerary
You will receive your check-in time on your itinerary. If you are making travel plans prior to receiving your itinerary, plan to arrive at Flamingo Crossings Village no later than 12 p.m.
Please note that arriving later than your scheduled arrival time may delay your check-in process and training schedule. Excessive delays may cause your program to be delayed to a future arrival date (if available) or canceled.
Note: Your itinerary is unique to you - please follow the times listed for your appointments.
Where to go
- You may bring your luggage to the Flamingo Crossings Village community you will be living - either East or West. There will be a location set up to hold luggage.

Getting to Flamingo Crossings Village
You are responsible for your own transportation to Flamingo Crossings Village on arrival day.
Planning to fly? The closest airport to Flamingo Crossings Village is the Orlando International Airport (MCO) located in Orlando, FL (31 mi, 50 km). Other airports within a few hours’ driving distance include:
- Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) – Sanford, FL (57 mi, 92 km)
- Tampa International Airport (TPA) – Tampa, FL (82 mi, 131 km)
If flying, it is advised that you give yourself two to three hours to collect your luggage from the airport and travel to Flamingo Crossings Village.

What to wear
You will be moving into your apartment after checking in, so be sure to wear comfortable clothes!
Please note that you will have your photo taken for your company ID, so make sure to be in Disney Look, including removing any facial piercings. If you wear glasses, you will be asked to take them off for your photo.

Documents to bring
College or Culinary Programs
If you are on a College or Culinary Program, bring an unexpired, original (not a copy) government-issued photo ID. Your fingerprints will be collected for a background check on your arrival day.International Programs
If you are on an International Program, you must have the following original documentation (copies will not be accepted):- Passport with visa stamp (US and Canada passport-holders do not require a visa)
- Original Form DS-2019 with your signature and location/date signed (J-1 visa holder only)
- Proof of medical insurance (J-1 visa holder only)
- I-797 Visa Approval Notice (Q-1 visa holder only)
If you are on an International Program, you will complete I-9 section 2 with an HR representative on your arrival day.
