Tips for a successful day
Bring the right materials: bring a notebook, pen, bag or other materials that will help you as you move through the event. If you plan to attend the flash resume or portfolio review, make sure you also bring physical or digital copies of your resume/portfolio.
Dress for success: while there is no specific dress code for this event, we encourage you to come dressed to make your best first impression. You may also attend this event in your work costume.
Come prepared to network: our recruiters are excited to meet you - come ready to ask questions, build connections and learn about all of the amazing opportunities they hire for. Are there specific areas you're interested in? Map out your plan for the day and prioritize those spots.
Take a deep breath - and have fun! We know this can feel overwhelming, but remember that everyone is here because they want to help YOU. So be yourself, put your best foot forward and make the most of this experience.

Please ensure you arrive on time for the sessions you would like to attend. Note that because these are shortened versions of our career readiness sessions, learning hours will not be available for each individual session. Instead, you will receive learning hours for the full Career Readiness Day event.
Flash Portfolio Reviews
Must sign up for a timeslot - sign-ups begin at 9:30 a.m.
We're excited to introduce the first Flash Portfolio Reviews! We will have professionals from a variety of different creative backgrounds available to review portfolios and provide advice and recommendations.
Check-in and sign-up for portfolio review time slots will begin 30 minutes before the event starts at 9:30 a.m.
The creative disciplines that will be represented are:
- Graphic Design
- Animation / Illustration
- Photography / Videography
Availability: Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Portfolio Required: You must bring a physical or digital copy of your portfolio. Digital copies must be presented on a laptop, tablet or similar device (no cell phones).
How it works:
- Upon check-in, you will receive a return time to meet with a creative professional in your discipline.
- To ensure our reviewers can see as many people as possible, review windows are limited to 10 minutes.
- Arrive before your return time with your portfolio in hand to ensure you can begin right on time, and come prepared with any specific questions you have.
Please note: Some creative professionals may not be able to review portfolios that contain unlicensed Disney intellectual property such as character fan art or ideas for attractions, parades or shows.
Flash Resume Reviews
