Professional attire or business wear is not expected unless otherwise specified. However, keep in mind there will be opportunities for networking, so use your best judgement. Nametags are not required, but if you plan to dress professionally and network, they are recommended. You are encouraged to dress comfortably in Disney Look. In the event you need attend work directly after the session, you may wear your costume to the offering.
HOW TO PREPARE
BE ON TIME
You should arrive to a learning offering you’ve signed up for at least ten minutes before the session start time. Five minutes before the session begins, drop-ins will be given the opportunity to take on any available space. Also, please ensure your schedule allows you to attend the entire class period.
BRING NOTE-TAKING MATERIALS
You should expect a wealth of knowledge when attending your learning session! Although it’s not required, it is recommended to bring note taking materials to all your learning offerings.
NO-SHOW POLICY
If you sign up for an offering before the cancellation deadline, attendance is expected. If you are no longer able to attend, make sure you cancel/drop your registration directly through DORMS. If you violate the no-show policy, you could be at risk at being limited from registering for future learning offerings. Learn more about the no-show policy here.
DROPPING IN
In the event you didn’t register for an offering and would still like to attend, you can try to drop in. It is recommended to get there ten minutes early and express that you’d like to drop in to a member of the Disney Programs team. If there is availability five minutes prior to the start of the session, you will have the opportunity to take on available space.
