“As a lifeguard, we get to keep our guests safe while they make the type of unforgettable memories that made us want to work here in the first place,” R.D. said. “It’s a uniquely fun way to be a part of the magic.”
2: Create a Splash of Disney Fun
While safety is the first key, the role doesn’t stop there! Lifeguards get to create one-of-a-kind magical moments that only happen at Disney Water Parks. Teagan, a Lifeguard Coordinator, has become an expert in making guests’ days unforgettable.
“My favorite thing to do with the guests is throw impromptu dance parties,” Teagan said. It keeps me right in the middle of the fun.”
Cast members also organize scavenger hunts that lead guests around the park, create chalk art, and greet guests with a warm Disney welcome as they enter the park.

Lifeguarding channels the ultimate summer vibes – perfect if you love spending time in the water or starting your day with a splash. It’s a fun, active way to work in a relaxed summer oasis.
