2026 DET Writing Program | Aaron & Neiman Outlen

We’re very happy to share that 2026 Disney Program Writers Aaron & Neiman Outlen have been staffed on Season 5 of ABC/20th’s WILL TRENT! Born and raised in Baltimore, the Outlen twins earned their Masters degrees in Film & Media from Johns Hopkins University before relocating to Los Angeles to cut their teeth in the entertainment industry, landing assistant positions at Endeavour, and in the Current Series departments of Disney Branded Television and FX Networks. During their time in Current Series, they assisted on a variety of shows, including THE OLD MAN, SHOGUN, FARGO, GOOSEBUMPS, PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS, and more. In 2024 they attended the Stowe Story Labs Writer’s Retreat in Vermont on a full scholarship. Their original work has also been recognized for excellence in screenwriting, earning the Grand Prize from the Shore Scripts TV Pilot Competition. Aaron & Neiman have a passion for crafting heartfelt, character-driven stories where the ordinary transforms into the extraordinary, ideally in a broadcast procedural setting. Congratulations, Aaron & Neiman!
