Disney Launches Ultimate Toy Drive for the Holiday Season

Last week, Disney kicked off the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive with a $500,000 donation to the Marine Toys for Tots Program to provide toys to children and inspire hope where it’s needed most this holiday season.

It’s a tradition that dates back more than 70 years for the Company. In fact, Walt and his team of animators designed the familiar red Toys for Tots train logo in 1947 which is still in use today!

Cast Members, Employees, Crew Members, and Imagineers alike look forward to the event, each year, which marks the start of the Holiday season for many and reminds us all how lucky we are to have the opportunity to help create a little magic for the communities we all live and work in.

It’s magic that just seems to shine a little bit brighter, this time of year.

Now through December 14, 2021, you can experience that to those who need it most by donating a toy online at shopDisney.com or donating a new, unwrapped toy in person at the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort (where collection bins are located at the World of Disney store, Star Wars Trading Post, and Resort Hotel stores) or Disney Springs at Walt Disney World (where you’ll find collection bins at the World of Disney store, Marketplace Co-Op, Star Wars Galactic Outpost, and Disney Springs Welcome Center).

In more magical news celebrating children, Disney is supporting Make-A-Wish International with the sequel to last year’s “Lola”. Get a peek at “The Stepdad”, below.
