From The Seas to Storytelling: Emily’s Disney College Program Experience

Emily joined the Disney College Program in Fall 2014 as an Attractions Host at The Seas with Nemo and Friends, where she stepped into adulthood and independence for the first time outside her home state of Colorado. As Disney rolled out what was then known as FastPass+ and MagicBands, she adapted quickly, acting as a resource for guests and learning to problem-solve on the fly. The program deepened her understanding of professionalism, networked her with leaders across the company and sparked her journey toward her dream role. Today, Emily is a Communications Specialist for Talent Acquisition Marketing, bringing stories like her own full circle.
