From Attractions to Advertising: Mike’s Disney Journey

Mike began his Disney career in 2008 through the Disney College Program, working attractions at Disney California Adventure. The experience gave him the confidence to lead, thanks to the autonomy he was given to respond to guest feedback and solve problems on the spot. Living and working independently for the first time, Mike learned to balance work and life—skills he still relies on today as Director of Worldwide Marketing. From navigating an earthquake while operating a carousel to collaborating with international cast members, his time in the program laid the foundation for both his personal and professional growth.
