This year has already been packed with exciting events for Disney Programs participants! Let’s look back at some of the fun offerings we’ve held over the last few months.
In a new highly interactive session, Improv for Improvement, participants learned to boost their confidence, improve their public speaking and strengthen their critical thinking skills in a fun way!
Participants learned to think on their feet and be their authentic selves with Improv for Improvement! ✨ #DisneyPrograms
Flamingo Crossings Village and Apprentice Hall transformed into Arendelle for a night filled with warm hugs, a giant snow globe and fun activities.
We kicked off Black History Month with a panel discussion featuring three creative and influential people from The Walt Disney Company. Author Fredrick Joseph, illustrator Nikkolas Smith and anthropologist Dr. Johnnetta Betsch Cole discussed their career journeys with participants in an inspirational panel session.
Walt Disney Studios Animator, Michael Woodside, discussed his career milestones and how he contributed to some popular Disney movies such as “Encanto” (2021), “Raya and the Last Dragon” (2021), “Moana” (2016) and “Frozen II” (2019).
The sorcerer’s apprentice himself made a fantasmic appearance at Apprentice Hall! At the Sorcerer’s Apprentice Soiree, participants enjoyed a magical night full of fun games such as Hungry Hyacinth Hippo and “Fantasia”-themed mini golf.
Laissez le bon temps rouler! Participants paraded their way through Flamingo Crossings Village to celebrate a night of fun at the Mardi Gras Masquerade. Naveen and Louis made a special appearance, too!
Participants had a special character dining experience Disney Programs style! The event included mug decorating and a special visit from our friends, Eeyore and Tigger.
There is so much to look forward to while on a program whether it’s community events or learning experiences. Want to see updates on the latest happenings and events for Disney Programs participants? Follow @DisneyProgramsLife on Instagram and TikTok!
