EMEA Talent Connection and Talent & Growth teams recently hosted the UK and Ireland Career and Experience Fair, where employees had the opportunity to build connections and feel inspired about their future at Disney. It was truly an interactive day packed with opportunities to explore, connect and spark fresh career curiosity!
Throughout the day, Disney employees had the chance to engage with different parts of the business, whether that was visiting career and experience stalls, attending workshops or having open conversations with recruiters.

Tell us about your role and main responsibilities!
Our EMEA team manages end-to-end hiring across Disney Entertainment, Disney Experiences and Corporate, partnering closely with hiring leaders to bring the right talent into the business. I’m particularly passionate about the experience we create, making sure candidates feel valued and hiring managers feel supported while continuing to evolve our processes and embrace new ways of working.
What inspired you to pursue a career with Disney and how does it inform your work?
I loved the idea of being part of a company known not only for its storytelling, but for its values, creativity and global reach. I was particularly drawn to the idea of building a long-term career here and exploring different paths over time.
When the opportunity came up, I followed the same process as any candidate: by applying through the Disney Careers site, connecting with the recruitment team and going through the interview process. That experience gave me real insight into the culture and people behind the brand, and it’s something I carry with me in my role today, helping shape a meaningful experience for others on that same journey.
What skills attributed to your growth the most in your career at Disney?
A big part of my development has come from being enthusiastic and adaptable. Building strong relationships has also been essential. Being able to partner effectively with stakeholders, understand their needs and offer trusted advice has really helped me grow into a more strategic role.
Learning to trust my voice, bring insights to the table and take on leadership opportunities has been key to progressing into my current role. At the same time, I’ve learned the importance of being patient as growth doesn’t happen overnight, so giving myself the time to develop has been just as important.
You recently supported the Talent & Growth team with organizing the UK and Ireland Career and Experience Fair. How did this event impact employees at Disney?
One of the most valuable elements was the opportunity for direct connection; employees had the chance to ask questions, gain insight into how internal hiring works and better understand what opportunities might be available to them. It helped encourage employees to think more proactively about their career paths and take ownership of their development.
What are some resources Disney offers to promote and foster upward career growth and internal mobility?
Disney offers a wide range of resources, helping employees feel informed, prepared and confident as they explore what’s next.
Talent Connection supports employees directly through the internal hiring process, offering guidance on applications, resume writing, interview preparation and feedback and helping them understand how their skills can translate across the business.
Talent & Growth provides a variety of development opportunities, including leadership programmes, mentoring, networking and career conversation masterclasses. These resources give employees the space to build new skills,
gain exposure to different areas and explore their development at their own pace.
We also have strong employee communities, such as our Business Employee Resource Groups, which create additional opportunities for connection, learning and peer support.
Initiatives like the UK and Ireland Career and Experience Fair bring these resources together, giving employees visibility of what’s available and helping them take proactive steps in their career journey.

What advice do you have for someone hoping to grow their career with Disney?
Take control of your own journey. Be clear on what you want, have open conversations, and make the most of the opportunities around you. Share your goals, ask questions, and let your voice be heard. Progression can take many forms, such as taking on a new project, moving laterally or exploring a different area of the business. What matters most is staying open, being willing to say yes and continuing to invest in your own development.
