2025-26 DET Directing Program – Unscripted | Kirsten “Kiki” Malone

We’re pleased to share that 2025-26 DET Unscripted Program Director, Kirsten “Kiki” Malone, has been assigned to direct a segment on Season 22 of ABC’s BACHELORETTE! A seasoned unscripted professional, Kiki’s passion for storytelling began in her Midwestern hometown and ultimately led her to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she graduated at the top of her class with a BFA in Film and Television Production. She began her career in direct response television, and went on to turn her love of cinematography into hands-on experience as a coordinator and shooter-producer at THE RACHAEL RAY SHOW. She later became a respected producer on ABC’s WIFE SWAP, where she helmed numerous episodes, including the milestone 100th. As a Co-EP, she led the breakout first season of TLC’S 90 DAY FIANCÉ, helping launch it into a lasting cultural phenomenon. Kiki also played a pivotal role in shaping MTV’s TEEN MOM franchise, first as a producer and director, then as a showrunner and executive producer, helping the series achieve both critical success and social impact over its 16-year run.
