Early Career Pathways brings together the different ways people can begin their careers on our productions. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your first step into the industry, our trainee opportunities are designed to support learning, development, and progression across a wide range of departments.
Globally, we provide opportunities for emerging talent to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills needed for a career in film production. The Walt Disney Studios is committed to fostering the next generation of industry professionals by offering practical learning experiences across key production hubs.
We also welcome individuals exploring a transition into the industry, offering pathways for those bringing transferable skills and a passion for production.
Many trainees are sourced through established industry training partners, who provide pre‑placement training, outreach, and candidate support. These partnerships help us connect with emerging talent and broaden access to opportunities.
Delivered in partnership with the National Film & Television School (NFTS), our Disney Crew Academy - Step On to Production programme has been designed to set aspiring film & television professionals up for success in their first role in industry.
