MALIA MUNLEY

BIOGRAPHY
Malia Munley is an actor, singer, and dancer from Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, where she learned at age 3 that if you serenade strangers long enough, they just might buy you a toy ukulele (true story, and arguably her first paid gig). She’s been chasing that same high ever since. She sharpened her love for performance at Yale, studying Acting and History, trained at the British American Drama Academy, and cut her teeth in improv with The Purple Crayon, the nation’s oldest collegiate improv group. None of it feels like work. Every audition, every self-tape shot in a bedroom too small for the full body slate, every long day on set or a regional stage—she’s grateful for all of it because it means she gets to do the thing she loves most: tell stories and hope someone out there needs to hear this one. When she’s not on set, you can find her at hot yoga sculpt or at a local café with a croissant, an iced americano, and the most recent indie pop girl album blasting in her Marshall headphones.
