Hear from your hosts for the season as they talk all things Life at Disney, their favorite Disney memories, and their current roles at Disney.
ABOUT THE GUESTS:
As a California native, Stephen grew up visiting the Disneyland Resort with family, which sparked his passion for Disney Parks. Stephen started his career on the Disney College Program at the Disneyland Resort in 2014, but then moved to Florida, shortly after, to continue his Disney journey at the Walt Disney World Resort. Since then, he has held many roles including leadership positions in both Park and Resort operations. He is also proud to have represented the Walt Disney World Resort as the Ambassador from 2019-2021. He is passionate about caring for Cast Members and sharing their unique stories with others.
LaJoy is a Technology Recruiter for Disney’s Internship Program. She is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University’s School of Business and Industry. LaJoy is celebrating seventeen years with The Walt Disney Company where she started her career as an intern for the Disney Institute. She then worked as a leader for Park Operations with amazing teams at iconic Disney attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom Park. LaJoy also spent part of her career as a Research Leader for the Disney Consumer Insight Research team. She loves being a Recruiter and has had the opportunity to recruit for many different areas including Disneyland Engineering, Enterprise Technology and the Disney Hospitality Leadership Program.
As a Senior Manager with Corporate Social Responsibility at Walt Disney World Resort, Steven helps make a difference for children and families in the Central Florida community and beyond. He also currently leads the Walt Disney World Ambassador Program after serving as a Disney Ambassador in 2001-2002. A cast member for more than 25 years, Steven began his Disney journey on the Disney College Program in the summer of 1997 and continued as a Professional Intern at the Casting Center in 1998. After joining full-time, he worked at Disney University, EPCOT and as Project Manager for Disney Trading, supporting pin trading and Vinylmation. For more than a decade, Steven has regularly shared stories on DisneyParksBlog.com about merchandise, Disney history and new attraction openings.
Since joining The Walt Disney Company in 2005, Natalie spent 14 years working out at sea with Disney Cruise Line, where she had the honor of overseeing the entire Entertainment operations onboard as Cruise Director 1. Through this role, she was able to explore the world, visiting some amazing destinations, all the while performing in a role that she truly loved. In 2021, Natalie then transitioned from ship to shore to join the talent acquisition team as a Senior Recruiter, specializing in recruitment for shipboard entertainment. Natalie has a true passion for her role and takes great joy and pride in supporting others in achieving their own goals and dreams.
Originally from Ewa Beach, HI, Cassie took a leap of faith to start her Disney journey as a contractor in Burbank, CA. Since then, she’s had the great fortune to learn from and work with many of our amazing HR teams across the company. Currently, Cassie is a leader on the Enterprise Talent Sourcing and Research team and partners closely with many beloved Disney Experiences brands and businesses. With a fierce passion for DEI, her mission is to open as many doors as she can for others and to champion an environment of genuine inclusivity and belonging.
