Our HR team partners closely with Production to provide crew members with consistent support, resources, and guidance throughout the life of a series, limited series, or movie of the week. We’re here to help you navigate workplace concerns (on set or on location), connect you with wellbeing tools, and serve as a trusted point of contact for crew-related employment matters. EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

Supports the mental health and wellbeing of cast and crew by fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment. We can help connect you to mental health resources, employee assistance programs, and wellbeing tools tailored to the unique demands of production life—whether you're navigating stress, burnout, or personal challenges. Our goal is to ensure you feel supported both on and off set, and to provide a confidential space where you can access the help you need.
PRODUCTION HR
When you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn, reaching out to a mental health clinician can be a helpful first step. A confidential phone call to EAP can help you begin to manage stressors, explore coping strategies, and get personalized support. Clinicians can offer tools, recommendations, and referrals to additional resources—helping you take meaningful steps toward feeling better and staying well throughout your production experience.
SOLAS MIND (for non-USA productions only)
Through our partnership with Solas Mind, crew members have access to a diverse, global network of professional counsellors, psychotherapists, and coaches. Each practitioner is fully qualified, insured, and registered with leading accrediting bodies, and has been carefully selected for their unique approach and understanding of the production environment. Many have direct industry experience or have been trained by Solas Mind to support the specific needs of our community. Whether you're looking for psychodynamic therapy, CBT, art or music therapy, multicultural counseling, or coaching, there's someone equipped to support you in a way that fits your needs.
ENTERTAINMENT COMMUNITY FUND (LA, Chicago, & NY only)
Production HR recognizes the unique challenges faced by those in the performing arts and entertainment industries. We partner with ECF who offers a broad spectrum of programs to support your essential needs. From a calendar of workshops and support groups to online resources and emergency financial assistance, their initiatives are designed to assist everyone working in theater, film, television, radio, music, dance, opera, and circus—whether you are on stage, on camera, behind the scenes, or below the line.
UNION RESOURCES
Teamsters Motion Picture Division
As a Teamsters member, you have access to mental health services through your union health fund. To find support, please refer to the contact information for your specific health fund.
IATSE members have access to mental health resources through the Motion Picture Industry Health and Pension Plans, including therapist referrals via Behind the Scenes. The union also reimburses members who complete Mental Health First Aid training through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
