Disney in the Big Apple
Presented by

Dating back to the distribution of the Disney studio’s earliest short films—and even the 1928 premiere of Mickey Mouse in Steamboat Willie at the Colony Theatre in New York City—The Walt Disney Company has always had a regular presence in the Big Apple.
Headquartered in New York—and throughout the Northeast area—company business units of today such as ABC, ESPN, and Disney Theatrical Group have contributed to more than a century of magical entertainment which has spanned the globe.
Tonight, the Walt Disney Archives is proud to share a few historical assets that help to celebrate the time-honored stories of “Disney in the Big Apple.”
